This Maraetai kitchen uses a U-shaped layout to keep preparation, washing and storage wrapped around one compact working area. Rather than adding an island or opening another circulation route, the design makes the three available sides do the work. White cabinetry and a light benchtop keep the room visually straightforward, while the enclosed layout gives the homeowner plenty of usable cabinet and worktop space within a relatively contained footprint.
