From Estimate to Formal Quote

If you are starting with The ARK Kitchen Edit, use it to explore your kitchen direction and starting estimate before ARK reviews the project and prepares a Formal Quote.

Already have plans, drawings, measurements, specifications or an existing quote? You can send them directly to ARK for review.

Start with a clearer kitchen direction

Before preparing a formal quote, ARK first needs to understand your kitchen layout, measurements, preferred finishes, storage requirements, appliances and likely project scope.

The ARK Kitchen Edit helps you share your layout, room size, photos, drawings, site notes, preferred look, storage needs, appliances and daily routine. Based on the information you provide, ARK can give you a starting estimate and project direction before formal quote review.

  • Kitchen Cabinets & Benchtop

Cabinetry, benchtop coordination and selected kitchen components, which may include hardware, sink, tapware, delivery and installation.

  • Kitchen Renovation

A broader project that may also include removal, site preparation, waste handling, plumbing, electrical work, splashback, flooring, painting or other trade work.

Only items confirmed in the formal quote and accepted scope are included.

The ARK Kitchen Edit provides a starting estimate based on the information supplied. It is not a fixed price or formal quote.

A formal quote is prepared after ARK reviews the submitted information, confirms the project scope and checks any relevant measurements, selections and site conditions.

After The ARK Kitchen Edit

The ARK Kitchen Edit gives an early starting estimate based on the information provided. It is a rough price direction, not a formal quote or confirmed project scope.

If the price range and direction are suitable, you can send your project details to ARK through the project intake form. This may include photos, plans, floor plans, hand sketches, existing designs, project notes, project type and preferred timing.

ARK then reviews the submitted information and contacts you about the next step. If the layout, photos or drawings are clear enough, ARK may prepare drawings and move toward a first formal quote. If the information is not clear enough, ARK may ask for more details or arrange a site meeting before preparing a more accurate formal quote.

What You Receive Before Paying the Deposit

Formal Quote

A reviewed project price based on the submitted information, confirmed assumptions, selected options and proposed scope.

Contract Pack

The project terms, proposed scope, inclusions, exclusions, payment schedule and applicable policies for review before acceptance.

Deposit Payment Request

The payment request required to confirm acceptance, activate the project and begin the next stage.

After Acceptance and Deposit Confirmation

Once the formal quote and contract pack are accepted and the deposit is confirmed, the project can be activated.

At this stage, ARK assigns the project ARKCode, creates or connects myARK access, and links the accepted scope, documents, schedule notes, production updates and support history to the project record.

This is the point where the project moves from quote review into an active ARK Kitchen project.

Project activated

The accepted project moves into final confirmation, workshop preparation and production planning.

ARKCode assigned

A unique ARKCode connects the accepted quote, contract pack, project documents, progress records, warranty and support history.

myARK project record

The customer can access relevant schedule, progress, documents and support records connected to the activated project.

The project can then move into production, delivery planning and installation according to the accepted scope.
