What is the difference between ARK Kitchen Core Hardware and Storage Solutions?

ARK Kitchen Core Hardware covers the essential hardware included in the standard kitchen specification. Storage Solutions are selected according to the kitchen layout, cabinet dimensions and individual storage requirements.

Are Storage Solutions included in every kitchen?

No. Pull-out systems, pantry and tall-unit systems, corner storage, wall cabinet storage, additional waste and recycling systems, and internal organisation are added only where they are required by the design or selected by the client.

ARK Kitchen Core Hardware

Every ARK Kitchen starts with specified Häfele hardware. Soft-close hinges, soft-close drawer systems and one fitted cutlery tray are included as standard. An integrated waste solution is normally included, with the type and location selected according to cabinet space, sink and plumbing requirements.

Kitchen Storage Solutions

Storage solutions are added where better access, visibility or organisation is needed. Options may include pull-out systems, pantry units, corner storage, wall cabinet storage, waste and recycling systems, and internal organisation, with final suitability depending on cabinet size, layout and clearance.

Pull-out Systems

Pull-out systems bring the contents of base cabinets forward, making stored items easier to see, reach and organise. Options are selected according to cabinet width, available internal space and intended use.

Condiment Pull-out

Designed for oils, sauces, spices and other frequently used cooking ingredients, a condiment pull-out keeps narrow items organised and easy to reach beside the cooking or preparation area.

Full-width Pull-out

A full-width pull-out uses most of the cabinet width to store cookware, ingredients or larger everyday items. The complete storage unit moves forward for improved visibility and access.

Pantry & Tall Units

Pantry and tall unit systems use the full height of a cabinet to provide organised storage for food, appliances and household supplies. The suitable configuration depends on cabinet width, height, load requirements and the preferred method of access.

Pantry Pull-out

A pantry pull-out brings multiple storage baskets or shelves forward as the cabinet is opened, making items throughout the full cabinet height easier to see and reach.

Full-extension Pantry Larder

A full-extension pantry larder brings the entire tall storage system forward when the cabinet is opened. Baskets mounted to the central frame and cabinet doors provide clear visibility and access from both sides.

Waste and recycling systems provide additional capacity, improved access or more specialised waste separation beyond the integrated bin included in the ARK Kitchen core specification. The suitable system depends on cabinet width, door configuration, available internal space and the required bin capacity.

FAQ

Every ARK Kitchen includes soft-close cabinet hinges, soft-close drawer systems and one fitted cutlery tray as part of the standard specification. An integrated waste solution is normally included, but its type and location are selected according to the available cabinet space, sink and plumbing layout, and the client’s requirements. In compact kitchens, the bin may be installed within the sink cabinet, and clients may also choose not to include one.
