ARK PROJECT LIMITED

Our Team

We believe good business is simple: be useful, be honest, and take responsibility for the work.

ARK has grown through real projects, real problems and lessons learned along the way. We do not expect everything to be perfect from the beginning, but we believe in correcting what is wrong and continuing to improve.

Dennis and Maggie are both Christians, and their faith shapes the way they understand work, responsibility and how people should be treated.

“But the path of the righteous is like the dawning light,
that shines more and more until the perfect day.”

— Proverbs 4:18

Team

Dennis Yen – Founder & Director of Ark Project, New Zealand cabinetry and kitchen design studio.

Dennis Yen

Founder & Director

Dennis started at the bottom, as an apprentice, and worked his way through cabinetry production, assembly, benchtops, installation and residential renovation. Born in Taiwan, he moved to New Zealand when he was younger and has spent most of his working life here. He has remained hands-on throughout his career and is still closely involved in the practical work, site decisions and problem-solving behind ARK projects today.

Having worked across so many parts of the process himself, Dennis knows that renovation is rarely easy. Good results take care, honest communication, and people who are willing to stand behind their work.

That experience continues to shape how ARK operates today: clear records, evidence of what has actually been done, and support that does not disappear once the project is finished.

As Founder and Director of ARK Project Limited, Dennis oversees operations, technical decisions, and the systems that connect project delivery, records and long-term support.

Maggie Wang – Designer & Creative Lead of Ark Project, specializing in Japandi-inspired interior and kitchen aesthetics.

Maggie Wang

Designer & Creative Lead

Maggie leads the design and creative direction of ARK Project and ARK Kitchen. Her work connects practical planning with a calm, considered approach to proportion, storage, light and the way people move through their homes.

Her design perspective draws from Eastern spatial thinking, Japandi restraint and the warmth of everyday living, while remaining focused on how a space will actually be used.

Maggie also helps shape the visual language, communication and customer experience across ARK’s services and planning tools.
