Two Project Scopes
What is the difference between Kitchen Cabinets & Benchtop and Kitchen Renovation?
The ARK Kitchen Edit supports two different project scopes. Both start with the kitchen itself, but they differ in how much surrounding site and trade work ARK is responsible for coordinating.
For both project types, the Formal Quote and accepted project scope determine the final inclusions, exclusions and ARK responsibilities.
What the Kitchen Estimate Calculator Looks At ？
The calculator considers your project starting point, kitchen layout, approximate cabinet runs and wall measurements, appliance positions, upper storage, drawers, tall units, benchtop direction, cabinet finish preferences, lighting and selected cabinet features.

Kitchen layout and approximate size: Straight, galley, L-shape, U-shape, G-shape, island and peninsula directions can be entered with approximate measurements.

Appliances and storage: The estimate considers key appliances, drawers, tall units, upper storage and selected cabinet features.

Finishes and benchtop direction: Cabinet finish, benchtop look, lighting and selected visual preferences are included in the early estimate.
What You Receive From The ARK Kitchen Edit ？
After completing the guided questions, you receive a starting kitchen estimate, an indicative project schedule and a summary of the information entered.

Starting Estimate vs Formal Quote
The Starting Estimate is an early planning range produced from the information entered into The ARK Kitchen Edit. It is not a confirmed price, accepted quote, final scope or contract. A formal quote is prepared separately after ARK has reviewed the project information, measurements, selections and relevant site details.

What Happens After You Submit ?
ARK reviews the submitted answers, uploaded files, photos, measurements and selected options. Depending on the project, ARK may request more information, arrange a site meeting, prepare drawings or move toward a formal quote.
Submission does not automatically create an ARKCode, myARK record, confirmed project, formal quote or contract.
