Quotation & Payment Policy

Clear guidelines for quotations, deposits, progress payments, and project confirmation.

1. Quotation Terms

1.1  Indicative Website Prices

Prices displayed on the website or social platforms are indicative only.


Final pricing may vary depending on:

  • kitchen layout
     

  • panel selection
     

  • benchtop material
     

  • hardware and accessories
     

  • installation conditions
     

  • additional services requested
     

1.2 Formal Written Quotation

A formal written quotation will be provided after:

  • site measurement, or
     

  • detailed information supplied by the customer, and
     

  • selection of materials and specifications
     

Each quotation includes:

  • project scope
     

  • materials and finishes
     

  • itemised pricing
     

  • estimated timeline
     

  • terms & conditions specific to the project
     

1.3 Quotation Validity

All quotations are valid for the period stated on the document (usually 7–14 days).
If the quotation expires, Ark Project NZ may update pricing to reflect current material or labour costs.

 

2. Price Adjustments

2.1 Changes Requested by Customer

Any changes after quotation approval—such as layout changes, material upgrades, or added items—
will result in an updated quotation or a variation charge.

2.2 Site Conditions

If the actual site conditions differ from what was provided (e.g., uneven walls, plumbing issues, restricted access),
additional charges may apply.

2.3 Market & Supplier Variations

In rare cases where suppliers adjust pricing unexpectedly, Ark Project NZ reserves the right to revise the quotation before deposit payment is made.

 

3. Payment Structure

3.1 Deposit(50% — Non-refundable)

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your project booking.
Your project enters production scheduling only after the deposit is received.

The deposit covers:

  • material allocation
     

  • factory scheduling
     

  • design finalisation
     

  • CNC preparation
     

3.2 Progress Payment(45%)

This payment is due when:

  • cabinetry is completed in our workshop, AND
     

  • ready for delivery / installation
     

Ark Project NZ will notify you via message, email, or ARKCode update.

3.3 Final Payment(5%)

The final 5% is due immediately upon installation completion, before handover of keys/documents.

3.4 Late Payments

If any payment is not made by the due date, Ark Project NZ reserves the right to:

  • suspend work or installation
     

  • delay delivery
     

  • charge interest on overdue amounts at 2% per month
     

  • recover reasonable costs incurred in debt collection

 

 

 

4. Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Bank transfer

  • No cash payments
     

Account details will be provided on the quotation or invoice.

 

 

 

5. Booking Confirmation

Your project is officially confirmed only when:

  1. The customer accepts the quotation in writing
     

  2. The 50% deposit has been received
     

  3. Required measurements or selections are completed
     

Until then,your project slot is not reserved.

 

6. Cancellations & Refunds

6.1 Cancellation by Customer

  • If cancellation occurs before production begins, the deposit remains non-refundable.
     

  • If production has started, material and labour costs incurred will be deducted in addition to the deposit.
     

6.2 Cancellation by Ark Project NZ

In rare circumstances where we must cancel (e.g., safety issues, supplier failure),
all payments received will be refunded in full.

 

7. Ownership of Goods

All cabinetry, materials, and products remain the property of Ark Project NZ
until full payment is received.

 

8. Disputes & Resolution

Ark Project NZ aims to resolve all issues fairly and professionally.
Please contact us immediately if any concerns arise regarding quotation or billing.
