Ark On-Site
Standard
We care for your home even more than our own
This page outlines the on-site service standards required of all Ark Project team members and contractors when entering your home — from the first measurement visit to final handover.
These behaviours and protection measures are mandatory throughout the entire project, because Ark Project is committed to delivering a better, safer and more reassuring renovation experience for every household, all the way to completion.

04 / Installation Day Overview
1. Before unloading, we confirm the access route, parking position and working path to ensure cabinets can be moved in without obstruction or risk of damage. 2. Before installation begins, we re-check all water points, power outlets, ventilation and switch positions against the plans, and inspect the site for any unexpected conditions (such as incorrect dimensions, hollow walls, or shifted pipework). If any issues are found, our installer must immediately notify both the homeowner and our office to arrange a solution. If delays are expected as a result, we will explain the situation to you right away. 3. Installation is carried out in organised stages, not by working on multiple areas at the same time. 4. For multi-day installations, materials are kept neatly stacked along the wall to maintain clear household walkways. If children are present, additional corner or impact protection may be applied where necessary. 5. If you are at home, we will provide brief progress updates; if you prefer not to be disturbed, we will respect your preference and work quietly. 6. At the end of each workday, we tidy the site, organise tools and remove rubbish, so no mess or hazards are left in your home.

06 / Final Handover
1. Functional Checks We confirm that: All doors and drawers open smoothly, with consistent gaps and no wobbling or noise Hardware is properly adjusted (hinges, runners, handles) Silicone lines and edge finishing are clean, complete, and done in all required areas Any minor adjustments needed will be fixed on the spot. 2. Silicone & Edge Finishing All joints at the floor, wall, ceiling and benchtop are sealed neatly No holes, no excess residue, no uneven lines We will advise you which areas need curing time before use or contact with water 3. Final Cleaning & Detail Check Before handover, we complete a full clean and detailed inspection, including: No pencil marks, stains or fingerprints on panels Screw holes covered with PVC caps (where applicable) Benchtop free from glue residue, marks or installation dust Interior shelves, cabinets and kickboards vacuumed and wiped clean Floor and pathways tidy, with all rubbish removed Your kitchen should feel ready to cook in immediately. 4. Licensed Trades (If Applicable) If your project involves any licensed trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, gas), we provide: Company information Licence or certification details Any relevant documents or safety notes 5. Notes & Warranty During the handover we will explain: Any areas requiring curing time or delayed use Any small follow-up tasks scheduled for the next visit Your warranty coverage and start date (recorded under your Ark Code) We leave only when everything is in order — clean, complete, and ready for use.
1. A full safety check is carried out. Sharp objects, loose screws, offcuts and temporary fixtures are removed to ensure safe movement through the home. 2. All walkways and working areas remain clear and passable. No tools or materials are left on the floor where someone could trip or be injured at night. 3. Tools and materials are grouped and placed neatly against the wall, and secured when necessary to prevent children or pets from accessing hazardous items. 4. All tools are taken away at the end of the day. If certain tools must remain on-site for next-day work, this requires prior approval from the homeowner. Sharp tools (such as saws) must always be removed or securely stored inside a closed toolbox — never left exposed. 5. Noise and odour sources are stopped, and we will inform you of any areas that need to remain untouched (such as uncured silicone or adhesives). 6. Rubbish is collected and managed properly, without using your household bins. We avoid leaving waste that could create odours or be blown around outdoors. 7. Any temporary conditions you need to be aware of are communicated clearly. For example: a drawer that cannot yet be used, or an area that will be completed the next day. 8. If you live in the home during installation, we ensure key household pathways and essential areas remain usable outside work hours.

01 / Arrival
1. We arrive on time and introduce ourselves clearly at the door — name, role, and the purpose of the visit. If unexpected delays occur, we notify you immediately. 2. Shoes off when entering. If site conditions require shoes for safety or practicality, we use brand-new disposable shoe covers to keep your floors clean and protected. 3. Tools and personal items stay in a designated area — never on your furniture, benchtops, or anywhere that disrupts your space. 4. We keep noise low and move respectfully. Your home is a lived-in space, not a construction site. 5. We never enter private rooms or areas without your permission. 6. If something must be moved for measurement or access, we ask first — and put it back exactly as it was. 7. We do not use your water, power outlets, or household items without approval. If the task requires access, we explain and ask before proceeding. 8. We stay mindful of children and pets, keeping tools, cables, and doors managed safely and responsibly. 9. Measurements are taken carefully and methodically, ensuring accuracy while maintaining respect for your space and belongings.

02 / Home Protection Setup
1. Floor Protection Protective coverings are placed along the working path to prevent scratches, dirt, and impact marks on timber, tiles, or carpet. 2. Wall & Corner Guards High-traffic corners and wall edges are shielded to avoid damage when moving cabinets, panels or tools. 3. Surface Protection Existing benchtops, splashbacks, appliances, or adjacent joinery are covered to prevent dust, scratches and accidental impact. 4. Dust & Debris Control We minimise indoor dust by handling cutting outdoors when possible, or using vacuum-assisted tools inside. 5. Defined Tool & Material Zones Tools, hardware and panels are kept in an organised, designated zone — not spread around your home. 6. Daily Tidy-Up Each day ends with a tidy workspace, not just at final completion.

03 / On-Site Conduct
1. We work only within the assigned area. We do not wander through your home or enter spaces that are not part of the job. 2. Tools are kept organised. Only essential tools enter your home, and they remain within a defined working zone. If the zone is on finished flooring or against walls, appropriate protection is applied as needed. 3. Noise is kept to the minimum required. Loud cutting is moved outdoors or to the garage whenever possible. 4. No smoking or vaping indoors. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside your home. 5. Dust control is mandatory. Work that creates dust is moved outdoors when possible, using vacuum extraction and keeping indoor–outdoor doors closed. In rainy or windy weather, or when oversized materials cannot be moved outside, vacuum-assisted tools must be used throughout indoor cutting. 6. Rubbish is cleared continuously. Waste is collected promptly — not left to accumulate or blow around outdoors. 7. Access to other areas requires permission. If we need to use your power, water, or access another room, we will explain first and obtain your approval. 8. If you are at home, we maintain a respectful distance. We do not disturb your routine unless coordination is required for the work. 9. Children and pet safety comes first. If the presence of children or pets creates a safety concern, we pause work immediately.
